Forthcoming work includes a tour of Scottish secondary schools with The Nine Lives of Roddy Hogg and Friends Disunited during the Autumn/Winter term, funded by Road Safety Scotland.

This year’s Christmas pantomime, Kirsty’s Fantastic Phonebox is available for primary schools in Central Scotland during December 2013 and the first week in January after the school holiday.

From August to November 2012, Baldy Bane will be touring The Nine Lives of Roddy Hogg and Friends Disunited, two Road Safety theatre productions aimed at S1 and S5/6 pupils respectively.



The Company has completed a successful pilot tour of an intergenerational play Better Late Than Dead On Time for Road Safety Scotland.

We are currently taking bookings for a further tour in Spring 2013. This is free to hosting groups across Scotland.

Following a hugely successful tour of Wee Andy by Paddy Cunneen to secondary schools and community venues in West Lothian, plans to widen the schools tour to other local authority areas in Scotland over the coming academic year, are currently under discussion. This emotive play looks at the implications of knife crime in communities.

Wee Andy

This play, written by Paddy Cunneen, examines what happens to an innocent young lad whose life is shattered when he is attacked by a gang. It is the story of how medical services try to repair the physical damage, how his mother tries to keep him safe, and how Wee Andy tries to imagine a life for himself in a world bordered by four local streets – where empathy and care are hard to come by. The surgeon's story is largely based on the experiences of Mark Devlin and Jeff Downie from Medics Against Violence.
